Unlocking a mobile phones means unrestricting the phones potential to use any network. An unlocked phone can use any sim card from any network, from any country. Ideal if you're planning a trip to another country and would like to use that country's local sim card, or you have a new phone but would prefer to use your old sim card on a different network.

 Once unlocked, your phone can use any sim card from any worldwide network.

How long does it take?

Just bring you Blackberry in to our Nottingham store and we will complete the unlock within 15 minutes. Remote unlock codes are normally processed instantly (but can take up to an hour) and postal unlock time is approximately 48 Hours.

How much does it cost?

In-store unlock is from £10 depending on model.

Remore unlock codes cost from £10 depending on model and network locked to.

Remote Unlock Codes

Codes are delivered via email, along with full input instructions. How to send us your phone if you are using our postal service:

Include your contact details including phone number and return address.
Mail phone & payment (if not paying on-line or over the phone via credit or debit card once the repair is complete) to PhoneShop UK, at the address below:

Once we receive your phone it will be unlocked and returned as soon as possible via Royal Mail Special Delivery.

How to pack your Blackberry before sending it to us:

Fully charge the battery and turn your phone off.
Wrap your phone in bubble wrap or similar.
Place wrapped phone in a jiffy bag, along with your contact details.

We recommend you send your phone special delivery, to ensure your phone is delivered and signed for by us safely.

If for some reason we cannot unlock your phone (this has not happened yet), your payment will be returned with your phone.
