iPhone 3GS Jailbreak and Unlock

Bring us your standard Apple iPhone 3GS and we will jailbreak it, unlock it to all networks, crack your mobile instalation file (so you can get all the Apps for free) and add both Cydia and Installous applications, allowing you to use your iPhone to it's full unrestricted potential.

Supported iPhone Models

• iPhone 3GS 8GB - iOS 4.3.3 or below
• iPhone 3GS 16GB - iOS 4.3.3 or below
• iPhone 3GS 32GB - iOS 4.3.3 or below

Supported iPhone Software Versions

This service can unlock any iPhone 3GS on any software version up to iOS 4.3.3 with the 5.16.02 baseband, if your iPhone is on a higer iOS vershion you need to use our factory unlock service. As part of this unlock we have to upgrade your iPhone's baseband to 6.15.00, this does invalidate your Apple warranty and is not reversible. If you update or restore your iPhone firmware after the unlock is completed your phone will no longer be unlocked or jailbroken.

If you would like to be able to update your firmware and keep your warranty please use our factory unlock service.

How long does it take?

Just bring you iPhone in to our Nottingham store and we will complete the jailbreak and network unlock within 2 hours (usually much quicker) on the same day. If we are really busy some more complicated jailbreaks may take up to 24 hours. Postal jailbreak time is approximately 48 Hours.

How to send us your phone if you are using our postal service:

Include your contact details including phone number and return address.
Mail iPhone & payment (if not paying on-line or over the phone via credit or debit card once the repair is complete) to PhoneShop UK, at the address below:

Once we receive your phone it will be jailbroken, unlocked and then returned as soon as possible via Royal Mail Special Delivery.

How to pack your iPhone before sending it to us:

Ensure that your iPhone is on iOS 4.3.3 or below.
Fully charge the battery and turn your phone off.
Wrap your iPhone in bubble wrap or similar.
Place wrapped iPhone in a jiffy bag, along with your contact details.

We recommend you send your iPhone special delivery, to ensure your phone is delivered and signed for by us safely.

If for some reason we cannot jailbreak and unlock your iPhone (this has not happened yet), your payment will be returned with your phone.
